Switch (<b:switch />)since 0.8.0

Switches are very simple input widgets for binary choices. They are particularly useful for mobile devices.

<b:switch> makes the Bootstrap style of displaying switches available to JSF programmers.

Basic usage

Live preview

AJAX

The <b:switch /> uses the unified AJAX API of BootsFaces. However, you should avoid to use the onclick event because it's triggered too early. Use onchange instead.

Error messagessince 0.8.1

If the field has a FacesMessage, one of the CSS classes bf-info, bf-warning, bf-error or bf-fatal is added to the label, depending on which error severity the message has. The latter two classes color the label red. bf-warning colors it orange. You can override this default setting in a custom CSS file.

If there's no message, the field and its label bear the pseudo CSS class bf-no-message and has-success. The latter colors the label green by default.
